- Build AI- and LLM-powered tools and integrations, helping clients put practical generative
AI to work across workflows, content and customer-facing applications as an early adopter of the technology.
- Design and develop full-stack web and application software, from front-end UI/UX through
database back-ends, for custom business systems.
- Modified and enhanced UI/UX aspects of a proprietary Andon system, written in C#, using Visual
Studio and MS SQL Server, SVG and JavaScript OOP.

Maintained and modified existing Visual FoxPro programs accessing SQL Server to create daily dynamic

- Perceived a niche, specified, designed and coded a web application system that creates, for subscribed
users, custom JavaScript code to place on their web page that interacts with their subscription account
to send instant notifications of the web page being visited by a browser.
- Defined, structured and programmed a sophisticated web based online wine ordering system, validating
order requests against a backend database for complex business rules dealing with dry-county exclusion
and shipping ability, linked with Google Wallet API for purchases.
- Envisioned and constructed a data driven system for monetizing free WiFi hotspots utilizing rotating
ads displayed based upon current time, premium advertising client positioning, user response forms and
return incentives.
- Conceived, devised and developed a mobile web application which allowed subscribers, via PayPal API,
to create an account and manage unique URLs with associated photos and information about a related home
for use in Real Estate signage and marketing.
- Produced hundreds of wine label design concepts along with finished press-ready art for Napa Valley
private wine bottling customers; designed logos, branding and web sites and laid out high-resolution
artwork for printed marketing materials.
- Responsible for the video production of hundreds of MLS-compliant 'Virtual Open House' video
tours: videography, photography, storyline, script, voice-over and editing in iMovie, Premiere or Blender.

2017 to 2019 · Senior Analyst
- Analysed and re-coded existing Visual Basic, FoxPro, Access and Microsoft SQL Server based programs
to improve UI/UX, processing speed and efficiency, reducing overall required time by almost 480 man-hours
(12 weeks) a year. Also wrote 500+ pages of user documentation.
- Devised and developed a 'problem character fix' module that automatically handled, according to
maintainable data-driven business rules, any unexpected ASCII character found on incoming data and
produced a report of characters found, location and replacement.
- Designed and rewrote several programs that had previously been copied and modified for each release,
into a single reusable program accessing a table-driven release structure to eliminate confusion and
allow backward compatibility.

- Team lead on a full-stack implementation of a globally integrated 'dynamic product' ordering and
manufacturing system, written as a Windows Application interfacing to Oracle, encompassing domestic and
foreign manufacturing facilities, complex global user rights and permissions, multiple order-receiving
methods (fax, email, EDI), linked customer catalog tables for barcode, price and variable data, and
multiple manufacturing methods.

1998 to 1999 · Software Developer
- Designed and developed both ASP running on Microsoft IIS and COM objects written with Visual Basic 6.0
interfacing with an Oracle database, generating dynamic SQL queries and returning data via object
properties or methods to display and modify Oracle data.
- Developed a dynamic web site utilizing Visual InterDev and FrontPage on an NT server with IIS and
MS SQL Server; Active Server Page technology dynamically built HTML pages based upon client profile,
product subscriptions and data-driven product structures.
Monarch Marking (Avery Dennison), Dayton OH
1994 to 1997 · Service Bureau Division · Programmer / Developer
- Part of a team that designed, developed, tested and implemented a Windows application written with
Delphi 2.0 (Object Pascal) on Win95/NT, which retrieved, processed, transmitted and tracked daily orders
for multiple domestic and overseas production facilities.
- Solely responsible for the design, development and implementation of a complete variable print imaging
application written in Clipper 5.2 that replaced licensed print-engine software, and was more
streamlined, intuitive and easier to maintain. Merged variable text and graphics with data-driven image templates,
calculated step-and-repeat layout for offset plates, defined run quantity for least waste, and output
direct to plate via Autologic (ICL RIP) or Postscript.
- Designed a utility application for Postscript font downloading, graphic image management and
imagesetter calibration; created an image converter that converted TIFF images between compression formats.
